Bed & Breakfast through the seasons

High above Stanbury, on the edge of the moor the Brontës knew and loved, we overlook Ponden Reservoir, where no two days are the same, but every day is beautiful.

Spring is a joy for birdwatchers, when cuckoos, curlews, larks, lapwings, are all regular visitors. We have resident woodpeckers, robins and owls, and every year the oystercatchers return to the Reservoir. May brings foamy apple blossom spilling on to the lane, the fields are studded with daisies, and later we gather elderflowers for cordial and fritters!
